“For My Boo” Band-Aid Valentines with Free Printable!

Hank’s daycare has a “no candy” Valentine rule and I LOVE IT. Not because we’re a no-candy family. Lord no. I love it because it forces you to get real creative with other non-candy options. Sure, you can go the store bought route, but why do that when there are SO many great semi-handmade options out there?

When thinking of a Valentine concept every year, I always find a little toy or trinket or art supply item that is already a hit with my kids. I buy in bulk, think of a little “themed” pun, and voila! Valentine success. Anything can be a cheesy pun. Anything.

This past year, I stumbled upon Welly’s “Bravery Badges” and now they’re all we use in our house for scrapes and boo boos. They’re super high-quality, fabric bandaids that come in two sizes, stay on securely, and have the cutest patterns. They’re amazing. They also come in these cute little tins that are perfect for travel or a first aid kit. You could even use the little tins for small organization once you’ve gone through all the bandaids.

I knew I wanted to use them for Hank’s valentines this year because they’re small, practical, and individually packaged in a clear plastic wrapper. Very convenient for showing off the cute pattern on a valentine!

Materials:

Simply print my free printable below and add any bandaids you’d like with double sided tape! I had so much fun making this and hope your kids get a kick out of them too!

Also, this commemorates the fact that I finally figured out how to use my own handwriting digitally for printables. I can’t wait to make more things in the future! If you have any good ideas of what I should make next, tell me in the comments!

You should be able to just copy and paste the pdf above into a Google Doc or Word document and adjust the size to your liking. If you make the pdf the size of one standard piece of paper, you’ll be able to print four to page. Plain white paper will do just fine, but heavier cardstock is always a nice touch. It holds up better with sticky little fingers. 🙂

If that doesn’t work, email me and I’d be more than happy to send you the pdf via email! erica@friisfound.com Thanks for your patience while I figure out this whole printable thing.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

XOXO, Friis
